Agora que tanto se fala do colágeno (ou colagéneo ?!)

What is Collagen?

The simple answer is that it is a protein but a very special one. Its structure is made up of amino acids with a fibrous arrangement, otherwise known as fibrous scleroproteins. The fibers are long chain molecules, containing up to 19 amino acids. The most important of these being, prolin, glicyn and hydroxyprolin and hydroxysilizin.
